“Thanks so much for a wonderful stay – you even managed beautiful weather – in the morning through the windows the light was like laser beams and then me oh my the view!!!
Skye as ever is gorgeous, and in October with the brown hues mixed with all the other gorgeous subtle colours it was a joy to travel around
There was enough to do if you wanted busy with some lovely restaurants – the Three Chimneys was everything it promised but our final evening we went to Lochbay restaurant that was marvellous (but check if open in the winter!)
If you want to just relax and mooch about the cottage then this cottage was perfect, sofa, wine, a little whiskey, log fire and an iPad (Thanks for the internet – saviour for our 16 year old son!!)
Perfect really just Perfect”

“We really enjoyed staying in your little cottage! Fabulous views, peaceful surroundings, great drives and walks nearby.
We can heartily recommend passing the evenings in the living room watching a box-set, beer in hand, as the wood fire roars.
Skye in the Autumn was magical as ever, great colours and wild weather. M&K’s top tip for Skye
– ring ahead to check that tea room 40 miles away is open!
Hope to be back in 2015!”

“We have had a great time on Skye. The weather has been wonderful
We have enjoyed our stay in the White House and will look forward to returning to Skye in the near future
We enjoyed the beaches at Point of Sleat and Claigan Coral beach and had two good boat trips to Loch Coruisk (which we walked around) and a trip to Canna where en route we spotted dolphins, minke whales and lots of porpoises. The Old Man of Storr is a lovely walk with lovely views but is a very popular walk!

“A wonderful week in Skye White House!
We have had amazing weather and enjoyed walking, and seeing the wonderful scenery on this island
The White House has been an amazing retreat for us at the end of each day – so peaceful, a haven for rest!
We have loved the wood burning stoves and candles too. Thank you!”

“Many thanks to the White House. We have had the best holidays on the Isle of Skye!
Our cosy cottage to come back to after a day exploring the many jewels of this beautiful corner of the world! The weather was fantastic, sunny most of our stay! Our highlight of the week:
Aquaexplore boat trip (minke whale and seals), the Point of Sleat walking trail, the many more walks around the isle, our culinary experience at the 3 Chimneys restaurant, most of all the comfort of the cottage!
We have to say bye bye for now but hope to come back soon for another relaxing enchanting week!

“Spent a wonderfully hot and sunny week at the cottage & enjoyed it tremendously! What could be better than wine by the fire with views overlooking the bay!!
Would highly recommend a trip to the pub – the nearby Eilean Iarmain (the one Gerard Depardieu went to), as well as the Old Man of Storr, Point of Sleat & Quirang walks”

“This has been a wonderful first trip to Skye for us. It’s a truly stunning island in all weathers and, typically Scottish, we’ve had stunning hot sunny days and rain and of course mist. None of which made any difference to our enjoyment of Skye.
Charming cottage in an idyllic spot with a view to take your breath away.
Won’t hesitate to recommend it”

“Wonderful week in this beautiful cottage, so cosy and friendly, fortunate to have a gorgeous day on Tues and able to picnic and enjoy the lawn outside with the fabulous views.
Enjoyed food at the Eilean Iarmain, Ardvaser Hotel, Cafe Sia, Harbour Inn, Bakur Bar Uig, and a wee cafe next door to the Misty Isles Hotel, Dunvegan. Dunvegan Castle worth a visit, Black houses museum at Kilmuir is excellent. We were fortunate enough to meet Torsten and have a chat about his new project along the road and have a sneak peak.
Also a lovely reminisce for my husband who actually stayed in the cottage in around 1965 on a family holiday. It has changed a lot since then but not lost it’s tradition and charm. It was special for us to bring our daughters here to holiday in it. We will be back! Thank you Torsten”
