Autumn is one of the best seasons to visit the Isle of Skye and the Scottish Highlands. The change in colours (and the depth of colour) over the endless landscape along with a dusting of snow on the mountain tops provide a stunning backdrop to any visit.

Sleat also enjoys unusually mild weather in comparison to Inverness and the Highlands as a result of the jet stream.
