Our pretty self-catering holiday cottage on the Isle of Skye overlooking the Sound of Sleat is now available to book for 2018. Over the years we have made improvements including the kitchen, bathroom and now most recently new radiators to replace the ageing storage heaters.
Before…
After…
We have installed beautiful cast iron radiators (manufactured in Scarborough) which means that the cottage stays cosy and warm without the need to light either of the wood burning stoves. The views to the bay, across the Sound and to the peaks beyond are as amazing as ever and we are very excited to soon welcome Torabhaig Distillery opening a short walk from the cottage. “Had a wonderful week in November in the Skye White House.
Such a stunning location in the Autumn and the snow on the mountains on the mainland made the view even better.
The Point of Sleat is a great walk and a beautiful location well worth it. We can’t wait to return to Skye”

“A wonderful week spent in Skye – the weather has been stunning and the Autumn colours inspiring!
Such a beautiful location for a cottage – we are going to struggle to persuade our 5 year old to leave tomorrow….
p.s. for any scallop lovers do try sconsel scallops – phone up and get them fresh – follow the utube clip on shucking!! Fab!!
Thanks”
